Progress:

A number of you have been asking how Otto is handling Thomas’ arrival. The answer is, in general, better than expected. This weekend’s breakthrough: He’s okay sitting next to Thomas on the couch!

Otto still has a few issues to deal with, including the fact that he seems nervous when other people are holding Thomas, even though he’s fine when I’m holding him. But I count this as a huge victory. I think he’ll eventually be okay.

I promise that sometime I’ll post something other than pictures of the baby. But he’s so cute!
Here are some things I’ve been enjoying today (besides the baby, who is utterly enjoyable, even at 3:30 am):
1. My SlingSet stretchy pouch, which is the reason I am able to type this post with two hands.
2. Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D-List. Much funnier than I would have expected it to be. And it’s on Bravo ALL DAY today.
3. My newly clean and organized house, thanks to both sets of Thomas’ grandparents, who are nothing if not awesome.

Mom, here he is in the dino suit.

And one more for good measure:

I’ll write more later, but thought some of you might like to see these…
