Goodness!

It’s been a while. We had a great trip out to Philadelphia, where we mostly lounged around and took advantage of free child care (thanks Karen, David, and Hannah!). We managed to watch the first two seasons of The Sopranos (our new obsession), the first two seasons of The Office (American version), part of the first season of The Office (British version), and various and sundry movies and sporting events. The healing glow of the television worked its magic, and now that we’re home we’re in high-dissertation gear (as you can tell by the fact that I’m working on this blog post right now. right.).

Anyhow, I know that most of you are more interested in what someone else in my household is up to, so here are some recent photos of Mr Thomas:

He had his six-month check-up yesterday (even though he’ll be seven months old this Sunday. Can you believe it?!). Here’s the vital info for those who are interested:

18 lbs 2 oz (70th percentile)
27 3/4 inches long (89th percentile)

So, I guess that, as strangers continually tell us, “he’s a big boy!”
