Unmitigated Halloween Disaster.

Folks, we had a major disaster on Halloween.

Yes, Thomas did have a cute costume.
Yes, we had candy for all of our trick-or-treaters and then some.
No, Otto didn’t eat any candy.
No, Thomas didn’t freeze to death, though it was pretty cold.

All in all, we had a perfectly lovely time. The problem: We could not find our camera.

And neither could we find the battery charger for the camcorder, which (of course) was out of battery.

(We suspect that they are holed up somewhere together.)

So while I envisioned a Halloween post featuring Thomas in his amazingly adorable raccoon costume, I have nothing. And we have no record of his amazement when we put the costume on him. Or when he decided that he must be dressed as a dog and started barking in his cute little way. Alas.

It’s been a busy week, hence the lack of organization and ability to find anything when we need it. Hopefully when things calm down next week we can find the digital recording devices and reenact Halloween 2007. When we’re looking back on this time in twenty years, I guess Thomas will never know the difference.
