DUCKS!!!!
I have to say that I think they turned out pretty darn cute. Thomas had better love them, too, because they were a pretty serious pain in the butt. Weirdly, they eyes were one of the hardest parts. For a while I thought maybe we’d just have blind ducks.
Props to will for picking the paint colors, leveling the background (a whole separate story, but let’s just say that straight-line laser levels should be called “almost-but-not-quite-straight-line” laser levels), and painting the beaks and wings!

Amazing! Lovely! What work! Now, just put up the big stuffed fish, and you’ll be all set!
They look great, Andrea! The multiple coats of yellow were totally worth it.
Wow! I’m totally impressed! The ducks are adorable, and since I have a tiny bit of stencilling experience, I can appreciate how much work they must have been! Well done! It must be so satisfying to be finished!
I think you did a fantastick job! That really took patience & time, time, time. Are your necks stiff? Your backs or arms? When W.T. is yelling his head off about something, think how nice it will be just to look up and admire them! lots of love, Aunt Pooh (quack, quack, quack . . .)
Fabulous job! I love the ducks. Congratulate yourselves on a job well done. The problem with levels is: the level is level; the walls are not level. When you’re here, check out the backsplash behind my kitchen sink. Although the window above the sink appears to be level, it is not. Thank goodness Aunt Pooh helped with the backsplash. Love you, GGG
Lovely. I couldn’t imagine anything more soothing than the feeling of being circled by yellow duckies.
